Carbon batteries and alkaline batteries are dry batteries, but according to the different materials and divided into two categories

What is the difference between carbon batteries and alkaline batteries
The full name of carbon battery should be carbon zinc battery, the general positive electrode is carbon rod, the negative electrode is zinc skin, also known as zinc manganese battery.
Zinc-manganese battery is the most common dry battery at present, it has the characteristics of low price and safe and reliable use, but because the carbon battery contains the heavy metal chromium, it must be recycled to avoid damage to the earth environment.

Alkaline battery is also known as alkaline dry battery or alkaline zinc-manganese dry battery, suitable for large discharge and long-term use of the instrument, alkaline battery internal resistance is low, so the current generated is larger than the general zinc-manganese battery.
